When an attic has excessive ambient moisture due to a roof leak or lack of proper ventilation mold can grow throughout all surfaces within an attic space. 

 

All the infected trusses and roofing board Will be washed with a antimicrobial. All of the newly washed surfaces will be sealed with a mold inhibitor. 

 

Typically blow in insulation does not require removal however if the attic has recycled material insulation or is intruded by animals The affected areas will need to be removed and replaced.
